The 22 and 24 May at 7:00 p.m. Håkon Kornstad sings Rodolfo (Boheme) at the opera students excerpts from various operas. Kunsthøyskolen i Oslo, The main stage, Seilduken Scene, Oslo National Academy of the Arts. The 23 and and 25 May at 7:00 he sings Lensky (Eugen Onegin) in the corresponding program.

Carsten Stabell

We welcome Norwegian basso continuo Carsten Stabell to the Stellis Polaris team! Carsten has a long and prosperous career both nationally and internationally to look back at, but as most basses he can certainly look forward to the best to come. Always anxious to learn more despite of many roles in his CV already, he is a busy member of the soloist crew at the Norwegian National Opera in Oslo. We look forward to the cooperation!

Mariann Fjeld Olsen

Stellis Polaris Management is proud to present renowned lyric soprano Mariann Fjeld Olsen as a new glittering member of the Stellis Polaris team!

Premiere as Fru Leich in 4. nattevakt at the Norwegian Opera 25 May. Until June 15th.

She will be on tour with the Norwegian Opera this summer to Savonlinna Opera Festival in Finland singing in 4. nattevakt and 2. niece in Peter Grimes. Later this year she will sing Sylva in Die Csárdásfürstin in Oslo and Drammen, Norway with acclaimed singers like Knut Skram and Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz in the cast.

Mariann will sing Micaela in Carmen at Kilden, Kristiansand, summer and fall 2013.

Michael Weinius

Michael Weinius makes his debute as Lohengrin April 7th 2012 at the Royal Opera in Stockholm.

The critics are very positive: Sara Norling writes in Dagens Nyheter about Michael Weinius Lohengrin: ”A somewhat reluctant hero built by lyrical nuances and finest pianissimo threads by a singer who seems to have found another dream role. ”

Frida Jansson

Premiere for 4. nattevakt at the Norwegian Opera 25 May. Until June 15th.

Frida is contracted by the Norwegian Opera in Oslo, starting June 2012. She will be on tour with the Norwegian Opera to Savonlinna, Finland this summer singing in 4. nattevakt.

Frida is going to sing Frascita in Carmen in Kilden, Kristiansand, summer and fall 2013.
