Solveig Bergersen sings Aminta in L’Olimpiade at Folkoperan

Folkoperan in Stockholm turns 50 and celebrates it with Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade. Peter Spissky conducts and Charlotte Engelkes directs. What could go wrong?

Vivaldi’s music is bursting with elegance, drama and contrasts: virtuoso arias, intense duets and quiet beauty. On stage, opera singers, dancers and musicians meet in a physical, genre-crossing interpretation by Charlotte Engelkes. She is accompanied by a strong artistic team of set and lighting designer Linus Fellbom, costume designer Anna Ardelius and choreographer Sofia Södergård.

Runs 19 February until 22 March.
