But he is not alone: The oratorio is semi-staged, under conductor Marianne Sødal Misje’s musical direction and professor Nils Harald Sødal’s direction, including film production and lighting by Per Tomas Govertsen. They will also bring the Kristiansand Opera Choir, the Cathedral Boys’ Choir and the Cathedral Girls’ Choir – a total of almost 100 singers! Musicians from the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra play, with Adam Grüchot as concertmaster.
The soloists are: Ann Helen Moen, soprano; Ingeborg Gillebo, mezzo-soprano; Thorbjørn Gulbrandsøy, tenor and Jacob Abel Tjeldberg, bass (as Elijah).
