It’s such an incredible honour to welcome Danish German star soprano Dénise Beck to our ranks. This bold, brave, and constantly exploring soprano, is more than welcome to our team of artists with equal spirits and minds. Singing all four heroine roles, Olympia, Antonia, Giulietta, and Stella in Les Contes d’Hoffmann with great reviews, says it all. And so does almost 40 performances of Tosca. Dénise Beck is celebrated internationally for her luminous timbre, warm expressiveness, and exceptional coloratura versatility.
From her debut at Volksoper Wien to performing on prestigious stages like the Berlin State Opera, Tokyo Opera City, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Dénise’s repertoire spans from Baroque masterpieces to avant-garde works.
Denise is a passionate recording artist and champion of Danish musical heritage, and on December 3, 2021, she was appointed a Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog (Ridder af Dannebrogordenen) by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark for her cultural contributions to the opera stage.
