February 2018: We are proud to announce that Adrian Angelico is going to participate in an out-door celebration concert ”Birgit Nilsson 100 years” in Scania, Sweden, 11 August, at La Nilsson’s birthplace together with Swedish star singers, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and Patrik Ringborg. Prior to that, appearances at Hemsing Festival 21-25 February and Octavian in ”Der Rosenkavalier” at The Royal Opera in Stockholm 26, 29 May and 1, 4, 7, 10 June, awaits.

His treble, close to the cry or calls of the Walkyries at Wagner, pierced the space and tinged with irony. When she turns into Vicomte, she uses her deep voice tobecome a sorcerer. Adrian Angelico made his debut at The Royal Opera Covent Garden in June 2014 in Luca Francesconi’s opera ”Quartett” based on Heiner Müller’s stage version of ”Les Liaisons dangereuses” and it was highly acclaimed. Angelico created Marquise de Merteuil as one out of two singers in the opera (the other is Valmont). An extreme role for a greatly gifted singer.
