The Hedmark County Council has awarded Stellis Polaris Rising Star Artist Bernt Ola Volungholen their Cultural Award for 2016.
The purpose of the award is to encourage the development of cultural life in the county and to be an encouragement to innovation and extraordinary effort. The winner will have demonstrated a clear and strong connection to Hedmark.
The County’s press release states: ”The winner of this year’s cultural award satisfies the guidelines on all counts.”
The award is a ceramic mask designed by Astrid Grue and 100 000 NOK and will be presented during the Hedmark County Council Meeting in December.
Progressive Theater Luzern in putting together a whole new body of singers to help the young, sought after and brilliant new Intendant Benedict von Peter to create his artistic universe.
